Tiny Wheels

This pattern is a traditional small overshot pattern (named for the way the colored yarn "shoots" over the white, to form the pattern. Amazingly, this pattern takes a much less complex loom than the Flower Dobby rug, one reason it was so popular with handweavers in the 1800's. We like to think of overshot as a Colonial weave, but in reality, most was woven from 1790 through the present. This rug is 6" x 7-1/4" including the fringe and sells for $20. More colors.

The Belter style bateau bed is available from most miniatures shops, the coverlet on the bed is a white on white unmitered Millefleur, and the desk is one I made in a class with Pete and Pam Boorum of Smaller Than Life, great, huh?
