Ticking #4 - a fancy indigo stripe
Another indigo stripe like #2, but a bit more interesting. Good for the beds of the well-to-do as well as those of more moderate means, from mid 1700's onward. Simpler folk would have had a ticking more like #1 or #3. The weight of the fabric lends itself to both thinner and thicker mattresses.
